14 Bulldogs receive All-MEAC Postseason Honors

NORFOLK, Va., November 22, 2022 – The state of South Carolina had named fourteen (14) Bulldogs to the All-MEAC Honoree teams when the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced their postseason football honors presented by TowneBank announced.

NC Central led with seven First Team All-MEAC selections, followed by Howard with six and South Carolina State with five.

All awards and honors were voted on by the league’s senior football coaches and sports information directors.

In partnership with the National Football Foundation and the College Football Hall of Fame, MEAC will honor its Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year during celebrations surrounding the 64th NFF Annual Awards Dinner on Tuesday, December 6th at the Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.

First-team honors went to wide receiver Shaquan Davis, offense lineman Nick Taiste, defensive lineman Patrick Godbolt, linebacker BJ Davis, and defensive back Duane Nichols.
