The latest update of the AP Top 25 poll was released, and the Arkansas Razorbacks remained at No. 9. Other SEC schools included in Monday’s rankings were No. 13 Auburn, No. 15 Kentucky, No. 18 Alabama and No. 22 Tennessee.
Eric Musselman continued its dominance streak in November as the Razorbacks started the season with comfortable home wins over North Dakota State, Fordham and South Dakota State 3-0 without the services of star freshman guard Nick Smith Jr.
The Razorbacks made a stifling effort on the defensive end of the floor to set the tone for early success. Arkansas only allows 54.0 points per game while limiting opponents to 34 percent shots from the field, 22.2 percent clip from beyond the arc, and more than 21 turnovers per contest.
junior wing Ricky Rat IV averages 18.7 points per game and has led Arkansas in points in each of its first three contests. Sophomore forward Trevon Brazil became a viral sensation with his poster dunk against South Dakota State and is currently averaging 14.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. Third year awake Vonste Davis is the other Razorback, who is in double digits with 12.7 points in three games.
