A Colorado is spreading the holiday spirit with family-friendly events this season – Pasadena Weekendr = Colorado

One Colorado in Pasadena, a city block of open-air shopping and dining in the heart of historic Old Pasadena, hosts a variety of events for the whole family.

Events include the annual Holiday Tree Celebration, 12 Days of Holiday, a Holiday Pop-Up Store and more.

On Saturday, November 26, festive star singers will fill the mall with acapella holiday tunes, organizers said.

Other features on One Colorado’s holiday calendar include Letters to Santa from November 25 through December 15, when kids can write a letter to Santa with all their holiday wishes and drop it off at Santa’s Mailbox near IPIC and Sage Vegan Bistro . Don’t forget to add a return address to receive a personalized reply from Santa.

“Photos with Santa Claus” from November 24th to December 24th. The gift donation will take place November 25 through December 15, when you can drop off new and unwrapped toys alongside Santa near IPIC and the Sage Vegan Bistro, which will go to Union Station Homeless Services.

The holiday kick-off party will be next Saturday, December 3 from 5-8 p.m. with KCRW DJ Novena Carmel and holiday card making for Union Station Homeless Services. Sushi Roku inspires with festive cocktails and sushi rolls to go. You can then snap a photo in the coveted MirMir photo booth to capture the memories.

The annual Holiday Tree Celebration begins December 3, when guests can visit One Colorado Courtyard to enjoy fully decorated trees inside from Industrious, a flexible workspace provider. Customers can vote for their favorite tree to support local charities. The winning nonprofit tree will receive a $1,000 donation from One Colorado, organizers said.

Participating retailers and restaurants will also be giving away free Gingerbread Kit gifts starting December 3rd.

“One Colorado is ready to spread the holiday cheer with our annual Holiday Tree Celebration,” said Melisa Lopez, Regional Marketing Manager for ShopCore Properties, which owns and manages One Colorado. “This campaign has been run across our entire ShopCore portfolio of properties over the past two years and has raised over $33,000 to nearly 70 charities nationwide. One Colorado has donated more than $5,500 to 10 local nonprofits in the past two years. We invite the community to visit One Colorado beginning this December to vote for their favorite nonprofit tree and help raise money for our community!”

The Holiday Tree Celebration is followed by 12 Days of Holiday, which is, yes, 12 days of holiday events, crafts and workshops that guests can take part in with the whole family. 12 days begin Saturday, December 10th with holiday wreath crafts for adults, in collaboration with Twigzz Floral Studio, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. You’ll decorate a festive holiday wreath for your home while sipping wine courtesy of Il Fornaio.
